Hard core Christians only here folks, not that there is anything wrong with that. I did notice that Audible changed the little blurb used to sell the book from the time I bought it to focus on the faith part more. IT IS NOT A MYSTERY OR A THRILLER! If they were to put this into the proper category of something like faith based fiction and I wanted to pay my money/credits for that type of book, it might get a higher rating from me. It goes somewhat along the lines of some Sci-Fi books I have read.

They suddenly find themselves fighting a hideous New Age plot to subjugate the townspeople, and eventually the entire human race.

a skeptical reporter and a prayerful pastor begin to compare notes. He eventually became a full-time author but hasn't published any new works since 2017. He wrote his first books, including This Present Darkness, while working for a snow ski factory. This Present Darkness takes place in the typical small town of Ashton where nothing much ever seems to happen. Frank Peretti was an Assemblies of God pastor, eventually giving up his position in his father's church for jobs that he could make a living at.

About the book: The two #1-selling novels that have captivated millions are now available together in one volume. Jacket is a little bit ill fitting-probably take off and then restored.
